As a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization, all of the funds we take in, goes back to the children we strive so hard to serve. All work is done on a voluntary basis and no one receives compensation for their time.

With the recent COVID-19 Pandemic, things have become much more difficult, and we as an organization have had to modify the ways we have always done things; whether it means Live Streaming games for our fans with local city ordinances barring spectators from attending events live, or organizing safe alternative events outside of the norm in efforts to keep our kids active. Unfortunately, these alternatives come at an increased cost, that we avoid turning back on families.

Wilshire Athletic Association

Wilshire Athletic Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing sports programs to the youth of Springfield and surrounding towns. Through our sports programs we strive to strengthen confidence and build self-esteem in youth aged four to thirteen. Also, through the development of team spirit and sportsmanship we hope to build unity between diverse communities. We believe that all of this can be taught in an atmosphere of fun. At this time, we offer programs in Baseball, Basketball and Soccer

Tickets are now on sale for our Fall soccer banquet happening Sunday December 1 from 1:00 - 3:00. Coaches and players are free (although they must be accounted for in our count). Parents and friends can purchase tickets at the following link. Pasta lunch will be provided. All instructional teams as well as competitive teams who finished 1st or 2nd will receive trophies.

Ticket sales will end 1 week before event so we can give the caterer a count. No Exceptions.

We are in desperate need of another Biddy Basketball coach (Grades Pre K to 1). If you are interested please let us know. We also understand that registrations are closed, but If you have a 5-7 year old child and they are not signed up, we will make space for them if you are willing to coach a team.

Hi everyone,

Thank you to those people who reached out over the weekend to inquire about flag football. At this point our six teams are closed and we are not accepting any more registrations. We are in the phase right now of getting coordinated to start practice. If anything does open up, we will communicate via a new post. Thanks again.

Looking for 1 more player for u10 flag football, and a coach for u8 and u10 teams. Very limited commitment, but great reward. You choose practice night(s) and games only on Sunday afternoon. Season goes from Mid Oct to Thanksgiving. 5 weeks plus playoff. Please help us and these kids out. Great Parent/Child bonding opportunity with u10 opening.
